Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Prevention & Control Policy
For Perfect Beauty Hampshire
All of us have been affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and it has been a very strange time for all of us in these unprecedented times.
I have missed being able to offer you the treatments that I know you love, and I am looking forward to seeing you again as soon as possible.
My priority is to keep you as safe as possible, and prior to re-opening I have implemented a number of changes which I would like to make you aware of. During the time I have been shut, I have completed the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Prevention and Control course which is accredited by the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists Ltd, the UK trade body for our industry. I have since made a number of changes in the way that I operate that you will notice when I next see you.
Booking Appointments
If I feel ill or have symptoms of COVlD-19, I will self-isolate immediately. This may mean that I have to cancel your appointment at short notice. I appreciate that this may be inconvenient but it is done entirely for your own safety.
If your appointment is cancelled you will be able to re-book again as soon as is safe to do so.
If you or any of the people you live with feel ill or display any symptoms of COVlD-19 – please advise me as soon as possible to cancel your appointment.
Before your appointment I will send you a consultation form which will need to be completed, this can either be returned by email or printed and handed to be before the appointment starts. Please note contact details may be shared with the NHS Test and Trace system.

You must wear a mask, if you do not have one available I will provide this for you.
I will be wearing my own PPE which will consist of face shield, mask and gloves.

I would request, where possible, to limit the number of people in the same room to yourself and I only
I can confirm that the laundering of treatment towels and uniforms is a priority, I can assure you that all laundry is washed at 60 degrees C and towels are never reused for more than one client without washing.
All disposable items are bagged and safely disposed of between clients every day.
I would request that the area where the treatment is taking place is well ventilated before and during the treatment.
Treatments
I have carried out a risk assessment on all treatments and I am confident that I can continue to provide these safely, with the current restriction of no treatments being carried out on the high risk area of the face.
After the treatment
In order to avoid handling of cash, I will now only accept payment for your treatment by either bank transfer or PayPal. This can be done either in advance or after the treatment, however, I do ask that payment be made before I leave, in case of any technical difficulties.
All of these procedures have been implemented for your safety and mine. I will continue to take advice from the Government and the NHS regarding safe practice and will amend them as necessary.
Thank you for your understanding.
